Daphne is regarded as one of the strongly fragrant plants that you can grow. It comes into flower during winter and provides a sweet fragrance that can be smelt from from a distance. It can be temperamental at times. It prefers a well drained position that is shaded from the afternoon sun. Try not to disturb its roots.
