The Dapple Designs Expert Says:

Fatsia japonica is an evergreen shrub well suited to shady to partly shady spots. Despite its tropical appearance, Japanese Aralia tolerates light frost and prefers a cooler climate. Plants alongside Rhododendrons, Ferns and Hellaborus under tall trees. Small white clusters of flowers appear in Autumn. A great plant for indoors.
