The Dapple Designs Expert Says:

Adiantum aethiopicum also known as the common maidenhair fern is a small fern that is native to many parts of Australia. A rich green fern with numerous fronds, it will tolerate some morning sun with sufficient moisture. Ensure the Maidenhair Fern is well watered, because drying out easily stresses the plant. If plants have dried out and foliage is lost, then all may not be lost. The plant may not be dead and may send out new growth with sufficient watering, for up to 18 months after the leaves have vanished.
