Climate & Growing Conditions

Parramatta is located in the geographical centre of Sydney and at the end of the Parramatta River. Rainfall averages around 970mm of rainfall annually. January to March are the wettest months of the year. Temperature extremes range the low 40s in summer to freezing in winter. Frost is quite rare in the council area.
