The Dapple Designs Expert Says:

This species is extremely variable in growth habit, foliage, flower size and colour. It is also very hardy in cultivation tolerating a range of well drained soils in temperate and semi arid areas. It prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, and copes with moderately heavy frosts and extended dry periods. This selection has bright red with cream flowers in late winter and spring.
