The Dapple Designs Expert Says:

Acer negundo is a species of maple native to North America. It is a vigorous deciduous tree with pinnate leaves on green young shoots, male and female flowers on separate plants. It's also very hardy and will thrive in a wide range of soil conditions, wet or dry, of varied pH levels (tolerates alkaline soils) and some coastal areas. Young branches may be susceptible to wind damage. Best when grown in full sun.
